Phitek Systems Limited announced today that it has in the last few days settled a complaint of patent infringement made at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) by Bose Corporation without any admission of infringement or liability. Phitek, its customers Audio Technica and Creative Labs have signed a Settlement Agreement with Bose Corporation, the specific terms of which are confidential.
As part of this settlement, Phitek has agreed to undertake certain modifications of its products. Bose has agreed that the modified products are clear of the Bose patents at issue.
Phitek will not be making any further comment or statements on the case or Settlement Agreement.
